The color is garnet-red, very steady, deep and brilliant with purple lights. Open, expressive and complex with aromas of very ripe black fruits (elderberry, blackberry), and some spicy scents (pepper, Garrigue). Great attack, tight but silky tannins. One notices a dominance of spicy scents, a lot of richness, a good length and a very ethereal final. Â Grenache 65%, Syrah 35%. Grapes are hand-harvested. Clay and calcareous soil and schists. The extraction is only performed by punching the cap during a long maceration which lasts at least 4 weeks. 100% in barrels for 18 months.
